Supply and Demand

The supply and demand workbench gives a forward looking projection of inventory levels, based upon the forecasts and the production parameters. Future production schedules and production recommendations are displayed.

The demand section aggregates all the demand for the ITEM at the location displayed. This includes the different CUSTOMER-GROUPS that you may have defined, transfers to other facilities and dependent demand for a ingredient that is used the the production of another item.

The items planning parameters can be changed by clicking the Planning Parameters button and new supply plans can be generated by clicking Run Supply Planning.

The UI calls out when inventory levels are below safety stock settings or when the date is within a lock period.
